I am consistently feeling like the odd woman out when it comes to general thinking on parenting. When I recently read an article titled “modern parenting…” and the definition of modern parenting in the article was in opposition to how I interact with, respond to, and generally “be” with my kid—I was stunned. Am I really that different?
All I know is what comes natural to me, and that seems to fly in the face of others, from friends I love and adore to the mainstream media. So, I decided to write on what seems to be a new perspective on parenting, responsive parenting, and thus, my sewing blog was re-born to focus on parenting.
